Explosives Licensing
An explosives licence is required to either acquire only (immediate use) or acquire and keep (with the exception of most small arms ammunition and fireworks) explosives for commercial use and also private purposes (mostly black powder).
To obtain an explosives licence an application must be made on the appropriate form which can be obtained by contacting the Firearms and Explosives Licensing office.
Our office is staffed for telephone and personal enquiries between 8.00am and 4.00pm, Monday to Friday, closed at weekends.
